Being a conservative does not necessarily mean turning the clocks back as we are often represented by opposing parties and the news media. It means that when something doesn’t work, either go back to the way it was or try something else. Too often the liberal mindset is that an idea is so great that it has to work no matter the cost to our economy, our morality or our children’s futures.
Being conservative can often times be difficult because our principles are placed on values that we hold dear. When we make a decision it is based upon thought out reasoning often times based upon religious beliefs but then again, not all conservatives are religious. We do not believe our decisions and ideas should be made by our feelings and this is what usually separates us from the left.
